Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) will design, build, and operate secure AWS infrastructure while managing systems administration tasks in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure following best practices
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Nutanix infrastructure
• Manage SMTP relay infrastructure and SSL/TLS certificate renewals while ensuring compliance with monitoring and logging standards

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or systems administration, with 3+ years in AWS
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Deep hands-on AWS experience and strong knowledge of AWS security and networking
• Expert-level Linux administration and strong Windows Server administration skills
• Proficiency with CloudFormation and scripting in PowerShell/Bash; strong Python skills are a plus
