Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) for a full-time remote position, responsible for building, securing, and scaling the infrastructure of a healthcare credentialing platform, with a focus on AWS, Linux, and systems administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate secure AWS infrastructure while managing infrastructure as code and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Serve as the Linux subject matter expert and administer Windows Server and Nutanix environments
- Oversee SMTP relay infrastructure and manage SSL/TLS certificate renewals and installations
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or systems administration, with 3+ years in AWS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Deep hands-on AWS experience and strong knowledge of AWS security and networking
- Expert-level Linux administration and strong Windows Server administration skills
- Proficiency with CloudFormation and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash
