Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
As a Staff/Senior Cloud Engineer in a full-time remote position, the candidate will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure while ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance through Cloud Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Implement SRE practices to maintain the reliability and performance of cloud services, including monitoring and capacity planning
- Automate application deployment and infrastructure management through CI/CD pipelines and scripting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or site reliability engineering
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and strong coding skills in languages such as Python or Go
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS) is a plus
