Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Cloud Engineer to work remotely, who will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation technologies, ensuring compliance and optimal performance for Veterans Affairs cloud services.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Design and implement CI/CD automation technologies and manage cloud permissions
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments and ensure compliance with federal policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, with a proven track record in Azure infrastructure
- Expertise in core Azure services and security practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and CI/CD practices
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
