Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing Veterans Affairs practice, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation technologies while ensuring compliance and optimal performance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and automation technologies for CI/CD
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems and ensure compliance with federal policies
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, including setup and configuration
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in core Azure services and security practices, including Azure Virtual Machines and Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and CI/CD practices, such as Azure DevOps
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
