Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring compliance and optimal performance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Implement and operate automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Provide cloud support services and ensure compliance with Veterans Independence Program (VIP) requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Expertise in Azure services including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Security practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or related fields
