Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation technologies remotely, ensuring compliance and optimal performance of cloud-hosted systems.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Implement and oversee CI/CD automation technologies for cloud applications
- Provide cloud support services and ensure compliance with VA policies and standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Azure infrastructure and services
- Proven expertise in Azure security practices and large-scale cloud architecture
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position
