Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, implement automation technologies for CI/CD, and ensure compliance with federal policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow models
- Design and operate automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Expertise in core Azure services and security practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or related fields
