Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation technologies while working remotely to ensure compliance and optimal performance of cloud-hosted systems.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and automation technologies for CI/CD
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud systems and ensure compliance with VA/Federal policies
- Provide customer-focused support for the setup and configuration of VA Enterprise Cloud environments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure design and management
- Proven expertise in Azure services and security practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
