Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure, focusing on automation technologies and ensuring compliance with federal policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and automation for CI/CD processes
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, including setup and configuration
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Proven experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Expertise in core Azure services and security practices
- Proficiency in scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering and architecture
