Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services while ensuring compliance with federal policies in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and automation technologies for CI/CD
- Implement monitoring capabilities and manage permissions for cloud applications and services
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, ensuring compliance with development and documentation requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Proven experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Expertise in core Azure services and security practices
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and cloud operations
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or related fields
