Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Cloud Engineer to work remotely, who will design, develop, and manage Azure cloud infrastructures while ensuring compliance with federal policies and providing customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and automation technologies for CI/CD
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide cloud support services, including setup and provisioning of VAEC environments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, particularly with Azure
- Proven experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Expertise in Azure security practices and compliance frameworks
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
