Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation technologies while ensuring compliance with federal policies in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Implement and operate automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, ensuring compliance and optimal performance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Azure infrastructure and services
- Proven expertise in Azure services, security practices, and large-scale cloud architecture
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
