Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and manage Azure cloud infrastructures, ensuring compliance and optimal performance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and automation technologies for CI/CD
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud systems and provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments
- Ensure compliance with security practices and manage permissions for cloud applications and services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Azure infrastructure and services
- Proven expertise in Azure services, security practices, and cloud architecture design
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
