Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design and manage Azure infrastructure, implement CI/CD automation, and ensure compliance with federal policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Design and deploy automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field
- 20+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Azure
- Proven expertise in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, and Azure networking components
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
