Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Cloud Engineer, this remote position will design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure, focusing on automation technologies and ensuring compliance with federal policies while providing customer support for cloud services.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and manage cloud architecture diagrams and data flow for cloud applications and systems
- Implement and oversee automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Provide cloud support services and ensure compliance with Veterans Affairs requirements in Azure environments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 20+ years of professional experience in designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in core Azure services and security practices including Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices
- U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
