Job Summary
To enhance security practices within cloud-native platforms, the full-time Senior Cloud Security Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and conduct security testing in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with development teams to improve secure coding practices and conduct security reviews of applications and APIs
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and assist with vulnerability management across cloud environments
- Conduct targeted security testing and provide mentorship to Security Champions within the organization
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in application security, cloud security, or related technical roles
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native application architectures and Kubernetes
- Experience with application security testing tools such as SAST and container scanning
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development workflows
- Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and communicate effectively with engineering teams
