Senior CMC Project Manager
Job Summary
Leading cross-functional teams, the full-time Senior CMC Project Manager will ensure the planning and delivery of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls activities for vaccine development while working remotely in the US.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance project management tools and practices to improve planning and execution
- Translate development strategy into integrated CMC plans, schedules, and budgets in partnership with Program and CMC leadership
- Monitor project progress, hold teams accountable for deliverables, and manage financial and resource constraints
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, pharmaceutical, or related discipline; advanced degree and/or PMP certification preferred
- 7+ years of experience in Phase 2 and/or Phase 3 vaccine/biologic project management
- Working knowledge of the CMC lifecycle from early development through validation and commercialization
- Experience managing service providers, including CDMOs, CROs, and testing laboratories
- Advanced experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, and Microsoft 365 applications
