Senior Collections Analyst

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of claims overpayment recoveries, the full-time Senior Collections Analyst will collaborate with department management, resolve payment disputes, and drive process improvements while working in a hybrid environment within the Tri-State Area.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with management on departmental goals, special projects, and information sharing to enhance operational efficiency
• Analyze disputed claims, perform financial adjustments, and manage reconciliations for claims overpayment recoveries
• Develop reporting metrics and analytics, and interact with providers and subscribers to resolve payment disputes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is a plus
• 2 or more years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry
• Strong accounts receivable management experience is strongly desired
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and strong technical abilities for reporting
• Understanding of process improvement methodologies and change management
