Senior Collections Representative

Job Summary

Contacting hospital and physician offices to address payment delinquencies, the full-time Senior Collections Representative will negotiate overdue bills, manage a portfolio of accounts, and resolve inquiries related to unpaid invoices in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Contact clients and hospitals for payment of delinquent invoices
• Process insurance changes, adjustments, and refunds while resolving invoice discrepancies
• Perform follow-up actions to ensure timely resolution of appeals and correct billing errors

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
