Senior Commercial Counsel
Job Summary
Providing strategic legal guidance, the full-time Senior Commercial Counsel will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, advise on AI-related legal issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote capacity based in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including software licensing and vendor contracts
- Provide legal counsel on AI and machine learning product development, including governance and regulatory compliance
- Identify legal risks associated with new business initiatives and propose practical mitigation strategies
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor with a current Bar license
- 5 to 10 years of experience in commercial/transactional law and technology licensing
- Experience advising on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data privacy
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across various commercial agreements
- Ability to assess and communicate legal risks in a fast-paced environment
