Senior Communications Director

Job Summary

Leading a high-velocity communications strategy, the full-time Senior Communications Director will manage rapid response efforts, narrative framing, and spokesperson deployment while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively define and drive national narratives and messaging playbooks to influence policymakers and legislative votes on immigration solutions
• Build and manage a rapid-response "war-room" to monitor developments and deploy counter-messaging in real-time during news cycles
• Train and oversee a group of spokespeople to ensure effective media engagement across various platforms immediately following news breaks

Required qualifications

• Proven track record of executive leadership in senior-level political or issue campaigns
• Demonstrated experience in high-pressure, rapid-response political or media environments
• Ability to manage daily media cycles and execute rapid responses across multiple platforms
• Deep understanding of aligning communications strategies with legislative persuasion and constituency mobilization
