Senior Communications Manager

Job Summary

To support the company's transformation and growth, the remote Senior Lead Communications Manager will independently manage executive communications, develop engaging narratives around product and technology strategies, and lead enterprise-level initiatives while advising senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted communications advisor to product and technology leaders, shaping executive narratives and developing presentations
• Drive communications that articulate Lumen's long-term product strategy and translate complex topics into clear narratives for employees
• Lead communications for high-profile initiatives, building integrated plans that enhance awareness and alignment during periods of change

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related field
• Typically 8 or more years of relevant experience, or 6 or more years with a Master's degree
• Substantial experience in internal communications, executive communications, or product communications
• Proven experience advising and influencing senior leaders and developing executive-level communications
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities
