Job Summary

Owning the media relations and public relations strategy, the full-time Senior Communications Manager will develop messaging, build relationships with reporters, and prepare executives for media engagements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage media relations and public relations strategy from narrative development to placement across traditional and crypto media
• Prepare executives for interviews and media engagements, ensuring effective spokesperson strategy and messaging
• Lead crisis communications, anticipating risks and managing messaging during high-stakes situations

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or media relations with a focus on media strategy execution
• Proven track record of securing coverage in top-tier business media and strong relationships within financial and crypto media
• Experience in crisis communications with the ability to manage messaging under pressure
• Exceptional writing and editing skills for crafting press materials and narratives
• Experience in crypto or DeFi, with an understanding of the relevant media ecosystems
