Senior Communications Strategist

Job Summary

Supporting strategic communications for partners and stakeholders, the full-time Senior Communications Strategist (Policy & Internal Communications) will develop and execute audience-focused messaging, coordinate communications across teams, and manage high-volume initiatives, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic policy and internal communications aligned with organizational priorities
• Craft and deploy various written communications, including policy memos and press releases
• Serve as a liaison to improve communications and resolve challenges in coordination with internal teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public policy, marketing, journalism, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in policy communications, public policy, or public relations
• Ability to translate complex policy information into clear communications for stakeholders
• Experience using engagement data to evaluate and adjust communication strategies
• Familiarity with health insurance or the Affordable Care Act is preferred
