Job Summary
Working full-time in a hybrid environment, the Senior Compiler Engineer will design and implement compiler transformations and optimize performance for tile-based kernels on NVIDIA GPUs and LPUs, contributing to the CUDA Tile programming model.
Key responsibilities
- Support the CUDA Tile programming model by designing and implementing compiler transformations and optimizations
- Develop MLIR-based dialects and lowering passes to enhance the performance of tile-based kernels across various NVIDIA architectures
- Define public APIs and lead efforts in compiler and optimization techniques while engaging in general software engineering tasks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of relevant work or research experience in compiler optimization, performance analysis, and IR design
- Strong C/C++ programming skills, including debugging and performance analysis
- Ability to work independently and lead development efforts
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment
