Job Summary
To support the development of advanced compiler and runtime technology for deep learning, the full-time Senior Compiler Engineer will design and implement program transformations for JAX programs, optimize compilers for large-scale distributed systems, and contribute to the open-source JaxPP project, with opportunities for remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement program transformations on JAX programs for large-scale training
- Develop optimizing compilers and runtime execution frameworks for deep learning training
- Collaborate with software framework and hardware architecture teams to enhance deep learning software
Required qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of relevant work or research experience in compilers, distributed systems, or deep learning training
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as JAX and PyTorch
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming with strong software design skills
- Experience with parallel computing libraries like MPI
