Senior Compliance Coordinator
Job Summary
To ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, the full-time Senior Compliance Coordinator will conduct audits, manage compliance projects, and provide training to staff while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conducts Corporate Compliance audits and investigations, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal laws
- Develops and implements training programs focused on compliance in clinical documentation, coding, and billing
- Collaborates with healthcare professionals to analyze compliance issues and develop corrective action plans
Required qualifications
- AAS or BS in Health Information Management, Health Care Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Minimum of five years of healthcare experience, including at least three years in healthcare compliance
- Relevant certifications such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CCS-P are preferred
- Experience in managing compliance projects and conducting audits
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex regulations
