Senior Compliance Governance Manager

Job Summary

Leading the core programs of Mercury's Compliance Management System, the full-time Senior Compliance Governance Manager will oversee compliance risk assessments, policy governance, compliance training, and reporting, while collaborating closely with various teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Compliance Governance team, setting priorities and enhancing team capabilities
• Own the compliance risk assessment process, ensuring alignment with Mercury's enterprise risk framework
• Design and deliver compliance reporting to executive leadership, demonstrating program effectiveness through metrics

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in compliance or risk management within a fintech, bank, or regulated financial institution, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Hands-on experience with core CMS components such as compliance risk assessment and policy governance
• Experience managing regulatory examinations and engaging with examiners
• Broad knowledge of banking regulations, including consumer protection and BSA/AML
• Demonstrated ability to present compliance programs to executive leadership and regulators
