Senior Compliance Lead
Job Summary
Focused on managing sanctions risk across a global footprint, the full-time Senior Compliance Lead will perform sanctions reviews, analyze alerts, and streamline processes in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform sanctions reviews in response to escalations from various compliance controls
- Analyze Kraken accounts for potential sanctions circumvention risk and prepare regulatory reports as needed
- Coordinate with teammates to establish streamlined processes using automation and AI tools
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, sanctions, or financial crime compliance within financial services
- Working knowledge of major sanctions regimes, including US OFAC, EU, UK, and UN programmes
- Experience writing sanctions reviews or investigation narratives
- Hands-on experience with case management systems and automation tools
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
