Senior Computer Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Providing solution architecture for the MuleSoft implementation in NAVSUP AWS GovCloud, the full-time salaried Senior Computer Systems Engineer will manage cross-platform design, security architecture, and CI/CD practices while coordinating engineering activities from architecture through production sustainment in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high-availability architecture recommendations and agile prototypes, including component sizing and network design
• Lead the Everything as Code approach across infrastructure and CI/CD deployment, ensuring artifacts are secure and reproducible
• Guide MuleSoft API architecture and oversee technical risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder decision support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related technical field preferred
• 7 years of hands-on Informatica experience and 10 years of senior-level experience with AWS or AWS GovCloud
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, security groups, load balancing, and disaster recovery strategies
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Current DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II baseline certification required at the start of performance
