Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools and standards for both internal and COTS software
- Perform release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and ensure compliance with standard configurations
- Train software developers on CM tools and quality standards while providing technical guidance on complex issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance are required
