Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration management tools
- Design and implement build procedures and develop software configuration standards for the organization
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and best practices while collaborating with stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools, source control systems, and scripting for automation
- Knowledge of software quality standards and governance frameworks
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance are required
