Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support VA applications and spearhead the migration to the cloud
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internal and external software products
- Train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and ensure compliant build and deployment processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools and source control systems
- Proficiency in scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunity
