Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internal and external software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document and ensure compliance of software parameters
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and software quality standards while providing technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience leading complex software builds and releases in regulated environments
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
