Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop and maintain software configuration management tools, and perform release engineering tasks in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and ensure compliant build and deployment processes
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools and standards for internal and external software products
- Provide technical guidance and train junior analysts in configuration management best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven track record in leading complex software builds and releases in regulated environments
- Deep expertise in software configuration management, release engineering, and CI/CD tools
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
