Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and maintain software configuration management tools
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks, ensuring documentation and compliance with standards
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and lead junior analysts in best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems
- Experience with scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)
- U.S. Citizenship required and the ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
