Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time remote Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration management tools
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and maintain standards
- Train junior analysts and software developers in configuration management best practices and tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Deep expertise with source control systems and CI/CD tools
- Experience with scripting for automation and managing commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
