Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the migration of VA applications to the cloud and oversee software configuration management tasks
- Design and automate productivity tools to enhance software modeling and development
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and ensure adherence to software quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Proficiency in source control systems and branching/merging strategies
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
