Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support VA applications and lead the migration to the cloud
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for software delivery
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years with an education substitution
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Proficiency with work management tools such as JIRA and documentation tools like Confluence
