Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliance with software quality standards in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support configuration identification and control
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and ensure sustainability
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and lead junior analysts in best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools, source control systems, and scripting for automation
- Knowledge of software quality standards and governance frameworks
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
