Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliance with software quality standards in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and oversee software configuration management processes
- Design and implement build procedures and productivity tools to enhance software development and modeling
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and provide technical guidance on complex issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python for automation
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required
