Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with software quality standards in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and commercial-off-the-shelf software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and ensure compliance with standard configurations
- Collaborate with stakeholders and lead training sessions for junior analysts on configuration management best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship required, with eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
