Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration management tools
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure compliance with software standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders and lead training for junior analysts on configuration management best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting languages for automation, such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
