Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and design automation tools in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration management processes
- Design, develop, and maintain automation tools to enhance software modeling and development
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and ensure compliance with software quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools, source control systems, and scripting for automation
- Knowledge of software quality standards and governance frameworks
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
