Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration efforts, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and develop software configuration management tools
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure compliance with standard hardware configurations
- Design and implement build procedures and train developers on software quality standards and configuration management tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven track record in leading complex software builds and releases in regulated environments
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
