Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time remote Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliance with build and deployment processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support both internally developed and COTS software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document and sustain software product parameters
- Lead and train junior analysts/engineers in configuration management best practices and provide technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven track record in leading complex software builds and releases in regulated environments
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
