Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time remote Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliance with software quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration management tools
- Perform release engineering tasks and document software product parameters to ensure compliance with standard configurations
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and lead junior analysts in best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools and source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation, including Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
