Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support both internally developed and commercial-off-the-shelf software
- Design and implement build procedures and ensure compliant build and deployment processes across projects
- Train software developers in configuration management tools and provide technical solutions to complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and scripting for automation
- Experience with source control systems and branching/merging strategies
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
