Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and ensure compliance with hardware configurations
- Lead and train junior analysts in configuration management best practices while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools, source control systems, and scripting for automation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
